Documentation / @etherfold/browser / PortWithProgress
Type Alias: PortWithProgress
PortWithProgress =
object
Defined in: packages/browser/src/host/progress.ts:60
What this needs of a port: the push, and nothing else.
Which is why the CROSS-TAB end satisfies it too (openStateMovedAcrossTabs, whose onProgress is the same report over a BroadcastChannel): a tab that hosts the fold binds this to its port, a tab that merely reads binds it to the channel, and the app's progress bar is the same line either way. That is the point of taking the PUSH rather than the port -- a helper that named IndexerPort would have made the reader tab write its own.
