Documentation / @etherfold/processor-entities / FieldType

Type Alias: FieldType

FieldType = "text" | "integer" | "real" | "blob"

Defined in: packages/state-store/dist/types.d.ts:27

The storage classes an entity field may declare.

Four, and no more, because the set is the INTERSECTION of what the backends can hold rather than the union of what any one of them offers. So a uint256 has no storage class of its own (the limitation recorded in work/notes/findings/sqlite-in-the-browser.md, contortion 5).

A field that means more than its storage class says so BESIDE it, with a semantic type (SemanticField, ADR-0098), rather than as a fifth member here: a uint256 is {storage: 'blob', type: 'u256'}, a bigint at the seam and its canonical encoding in every backend.
