StoredEventBlock = object

ONE BLOCK of the unconfirmed reorg window, as the STREAM seam speaks it: the block's identity plus the events the node reported in it, raw.

EventBlock with its events narrowed to what is stored, and with no ABI type parameter left -- the ABI is what the decoded half was made under, so a shape that carries none needs none.
