Documentation / @etherfold/core / GenesisCheckUnavailableError

Class: GenesisCheckUnavailableError

Defined in: packages/core/src/errors.ts:723

A genesis read that never completed: a timeout, a rate limit, a dropped connection, a JSON-RPC error.

The third of the three, and the common one. It used to propagate out of the load path as a bare failure indistinguishable from a real mismatch, which means a flaky endpoint at startup read as "you are pointed at the wrong chain". Nothing was learnt about the chain here, so nothing is claimed about it, and unlike its two siblings this one IS worth another attempt -- the same position IngestionUnavailableError holds on the ingestion path.
