Variable: DEFAULT_MAX_EMISSIONS_PER_CHUNK
constDEFAULT_MAX_EMISSIONS_PER_CHUNK:2000=2000
Defined in: packages/core/src/generation/rebuild.ts:248
How many stored emissions ONE call replays when the host names no budget.
The unit is emissions because that is what both halves of the cost are proportional to: rows read out of the stream, and blocks written into the successor's own namespace. Two thousand is a few hundred applyBlock transactions on the measured stream (31,332 logs over 13.4M blocks, median 429 blocks between event-bearing ones), which is a chunk a serverless invocation finishes comfortably and a local CLI loop pays no visible pause for.
A host that wants a shorter invocation passes a smaller maxEmissions and calls more often; a host that wants a whole sweep loops while complete is false. Neither cadence is invented here (ADR-0022).
