Class: GenerationInstantiationError ​

A STORED GENERATION THAT COULD NOT BE MADE TO FOLD, so the pointer did NOT move onto it (ADR-0092).

Raised by a pointer move onto a generation this container holds no fold for, when the host's instantiateGeneration cannot turn the stored bundle into one: no bytes are stored for it, the loader refused them, the identity they hash to is not the one the generation is registered under, or the fold's factories threw.

ONLY BROKEN CODE is refused. A generation on a DIFFERENT stream than this container can name (a filter change's predecessor) is not: nothing here fetches its stream, so it is the freeze a filter change already is, and the pointer moves onto it with that said out loud (promote).

REFUSED rather than moved-and-reported, because the move is the one thing that can still be declined: moving the pointer onto a generation nothing folds would have a deployment serve a state frozen at a known point while it went on folding the one the operator rejected -- the inverted state ADR-0092 exists to remove. Declining leaves everything exactly as it was, and the operator reads why.
